And this is me. Raquel: a crazy cats&cakes lady…

Just like everybody else sweetening your LCD screens, since I can remember I have loved cooking. Nothing can make me happier than seeing people eating what I have cooked for them. Of course, I also enjoy when my dinner guests (aka guinea pigs) flatter me. So, you avid reader should have already realized when entering this blog that what I really enjoy is baking.

I was born in Barcelona but I currently live in Munich. I have a bachelor degree in general engineering and a master in electrical engineering. My baking hobby started as an activity to get rid of the stress in the hard and long university days, and suddenly baking trapped me with its charming magic that makes me forget everything and everybody as soon as I open a sugar bag.

Cau de sucre is born from my deepest wish of sharing with the world my passion for baking and from the suggestions from many of my guinea pigs who insisted on that I should show my creations. In this blog you will find recipes off all kind cakes, pies, cupcakes, cookies and desserts.

Come in and see that my sweet dreams are made of sucre!

Welcome!

I bought it in Germany, the brand name is Tchibo. I am not sure you can find it in another country…
