Sometimes we all need a chocolate fix to get through the week. And here comes this recipe to the rescue! With roasted peanuts these brownies beg to be devoured without mercy. A decadent hot fudge sauce runs over them, making them the ultimate piece of happiness! And it is that, who does not make a Brownie happy?
If you are anything like the rest of the population, then surely you are obsessed with the combination of chocolate and peanut. Food scientists, analytical and delicious-sounding work, have done many research studies on why chocolate and peanuts go so well together. But really, who cares as long as we can eat it, especially in this delicious recipe!
I have added some Reese’s Brand peanut butter chips to give them an even more sweet touch! If a brownie already seems normally perfect to me, these have an ideal balance of salty and sweet, and perfectly smooth and juicy. That salty touch of the peanut will seem simply perfect.
The chocolate sauce is a bonus that really is optional. In principle I did it to give dynamism to the photos and make the presentation more succulent. Since if there is something I am sure of, it is that any public is hypnotized with the reflection of a good melted chocolate. But I recognize that in the end, it also has its interesting contribution to the flavor of Brownies, since it gives them an extra intensity of chocolate as well as a very interesting moist and warm touch.
These highly addictive brownies can be stored at room temperature for 4 days (if they last that long!). They also freeze well for up to 4 weeks and can be thawed in the microwave. I hope you dare to try the recipe, because in addition to being mega simple, I know you are going to love it!. & Nbsp;

With roasted peanuts these brownies beg to be mercilessly devoured. A decadent hot fudge sauce runs over them, making them the ultimate piece of happiness!
Ingredients
- 250g butter
- 300 g dark chocolate (with a minimum of 45% cocoa)
- 4 eggs
- 250 g + 200 g sugar
- 50 g + 100 g pure cocoa powder
- 200 g roasted peanuts with salt
- 150g peanut butter chips (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Grease a 24x24 cm square baking pan and put aside.
Chop the chocolate into pieces and put it in a saucepan. Add the butter and heat over medium heat until the butter and chocolate are melted.
Whisk 250 g of sugar with the eggs for about 5 minutes, until you get a foamy dough. Add the mixture of chocolate and melted butter and mix until just combined. Sift the flour and cocoa into the liquid ingredients and mix just until you see no lumps of flour. Add the peanuts, mixing until evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle the peanut butter chips on top. Bake for about 25 minutes. The outside should be crispy and the inside a little damp.
Remove from the oven and cool on a rack.
For the chocolate sauce, heat 250 ml of water in a saucepan and add 100 g of cocoa and 200 grams of sugar. Cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly so it doesn't stick. Remove from the heat and let it warm.
Cut the brownies into 4x4 cm squares and serve with the warm chocolate sauce.
